I think England showed greater intensity and came well prepared for
the match. Their bowling was consistent throughout and they did not
give away too many loose deliveries. They have obviously watched the
WI - Ind match closely and focused on short pitched bowling that
exposed the Indian top order. Sidebottom bowled a great opening spell
and Broad's last over was spot on.
India blundered by having Jadeja come in ahead of Yuvraj. Giving away
those wides turned out to be crucial. English lower order could not
score and these wides helped a great deal. I am also not convinced why
Dhoni needed to bowl Yuvraj when you had 4 specialist bowlers and
Yusuf had done well as the fifth bowler. Jadeja bowled well too.
Should be an interesting Eng-WI showdown today
