GREENWOOD, Maine (AP) - A 64-year-old snowmobiler who was reported missing
following an alleged fight has been found along a power line trail in the
western Maine town of Greenwood.
The Maine Warden Service said Bill Laturneau of Oxford was wearing
snowmobile pants but lacked boots or a jacket when he was spotted from the
air at around 10 a.m. Sunday. Laturneau was transported to a Norway
hospital, where he was being evaluated for possible hypothermia.
Officials said Laturneau allegedly got into a fight at a camp near
Greenwood. He left on his snowmobile at 1 a.m., and wasn't reported missing
until seven hours later. |
