I am the same age as he is. In my 30's I could take him or leave
him. Too busy trying to feed my family maybe. Or I just did not reach
his level of maturity.

Now... the guy is just awesome. His evolution certainly demanded the
movie....Prairie Home Companion.

Him? The writers? Hey, he develops the final product and it is
fantastic.

Another family values artist the Republicans hate. Ask....Marty
Seifert his home state GOP political leader about.....Garrison
Keillor. Chances are ...he will explode. I digress.........

My hats off to you Garrison.

My hats off to you Garrison.

I listened to GK the DJ back when I was in college, in 1973. This

predates "The Prairie Home Morning Show". Most people don't even know he
was on the radio back then I have listened to him for most of the past
35 years

Over the decades, I have listened to his radio show just slide downhill.
It started slowly, when his show went national. At first, it was still
very good. But with increasing fame, came increasing ego.

Garrison has an EGO like Exxon Oil has money.

His guests can be good, but his 'News from Lake Woebegone", which used
to be the highlight of the show, are nothing but long, boring narratives
filled with pointless minutia about the people in his mythical town,
devoid of the humor that used to be so very good.

All the FUNNY material is gone, replaced by a weekly soap opera.

It's sad to se a formerly funny man, disgrace himself like this.

Keep the music. SHUT UP Garrison. YOU ARE NOT FUNNY.

And you have NEVER been able to sing!

We still enjoy the 'News from Lake Woebegone' in our household.

Maybe the subtle humor is just lost on you.

Sorry, have to wholeheartedly disagree with you. I've also been
listening to GK for decades now, and I think the man has gotten
funnier and more interesting over time. I especially enjoy his
newspaper column...always makes me laugh.

Well, yeah....but that's part of his humor for me. ;-)
