It's been hot lately. Not much motivation to more than pull two or
three out to groom, comb and scratch out.
But yesterday, it was a surprise to see a truck with a big round bale
in back, broken down along the same road, where my trailer came
apart a few weeks ago. The blown tire was already off, so we put
it in my truck and took it to the local tire shop. The big alfalfa
bale came from the same bailer - he does put them up Heav - y!

I was glad to pay forward so easily, in return for the recent
kindness of a stranger, but this was not even in the same league -
still, I did my bit.
Then leaving the ranch, there was another truck pulled in on the
country road. I backed up to offer help, but the driver was waiting
for her Dad to appear. Another blown tire. Sunny blacktop
at 104 degree ambient is unkind to vehicles, no doubt.

Meanwhile the regional competitions are taking place all week at
Chicasha - at 100 miles, too far and far too hot for a day trip.

I'm all for random acts of kindness. Good on you Brian.
