I don't own one; but friends of mine tell me it is a fine pistol and have no
complaints.

I don't own one but I've been drooling over them for awhile. The pistol
alone has been going for $500.00 to $600.00 even at guns shows for a
couple of years.
I have yet to read a bad review about them as well.
I have two other Taurus's (a used PT-92 and a new PT 24/7 PRO) and I
love them both. Both are deadly accurate and, to date, have been utterly
reliable.
They are also easier than some guns to break down and clean!

I have the PT 1911 in SS. I got it for $599 w/2 mags & the case.
Eats pretty much anything thrown at it. I've had about 500 rounds
thru mine with different types of ammo. It's a good deal for the
dollars, however, if I had the extra dollars to burn, I'd go for
something higher end.
