The sad death of the beloved Yankee Bobby Murcer again puts in
perspective what things are important..namely..living the good
life...and accepting ones mortality....and doing good things for
others..and shedding all evil thoughts that might enter one's mind..
We scream and yell at each other..I am as guilty as the next
one..but when it comes down to what life is all about...we think of
those who have contributed to the lives of those of us still on this
planet....and even if we selfishly return to our former misconduct..at
least we can pause and think of the beautiful people like Bobby......

Another was Dr. Michael DeBakey, whose 99 years ended with, hopefully,
little or no agony. |
