One omission that surprised me: Koussevitzky in the 9th symphony.

The issued recording, or the broadcast with the scherzo at the wrong tempo?

: No, of course I didn't. It's a new thread as far as my newsreader is
: concerned. And why do you ask me and not Schultz, or did Mravinsky's
: name not come up in that prehistoric discussion?

It came up as a new thread on my server as well. My comment was specifically
in response to the post preceding it. I would have thought that if there was
some other response mentioning Mravinsky, the post to which I was responding
would have included language along the lines of "In addition to those
conductors who have already been mentioned. . ." I assume that Mr.
"rmc's leading Semitist" Daniels did not respond to my post because he
knows that he's in my kill file.

He's also our resident nit-picker! I haven't bothered to put him in my
kill-file, because he doesn't post all that often anymore. (But does he
EVER post on-topic, rather than try to display his erudition about
something that has little if anything to do with the subject of the thread?)

And no Rozhdestvensky? No Barshai?

Nope. Chac'un a son gout.

Mais évidemment, monsieur.

No Kondrashin either?
