Thanks for posting all these youtube videos. You can learn some
interesting Beatle trivia from checking out these forgotten 80's
performances. I was looking at the videos from Prince's Trust Benefit
Concerts from 1986 (Paul) and 1987 (George and Ringo). I believe that
Elton John (who was at both concerts) is the only man to perform in
concert with all four ex-Beatles after the group broke up. Also,
three different Beatles sang "I Saw Her Standing There" live. George
led an all-star performance of the song at the Beatles' induction to
the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. |
