I'm buliding some Dragon Tigers, specifically the Mid Production with
Zimmeritt and I also have the BergeTiger, which I may convert back to a
regular Tiger with some spares I've got.
The Mid Tiger has on the turret roof 8 small holes down the centerline 2 rows
of 4. They are centered on the bend in the roof plate 4 forward, 4 aft. The
Berge roof has just 4, a cutout for attaching the winch is where the holes
would be. I will probably just back the cutouts on the Berge roof with plastic
and fill the openings. But the Mid will have 8 and the Berge conversion will
have 4.
I can't find any reference that indicates what they are for, I've got lots of
photo reference but the only roof shots are the sPzAb 504 Tiger (an early one)
that was captured by the Brits and shipped back to England and of course the
holes aren't there.
Anyone know what these are supposed to be? I'm just going to fill them if I
can't get a definitive answer.

Frank,
It's hard to say. Most of the earlier DML 1/72 kits were based on pre-
built models with diecast hulls and as a result there are a lot of
unnecessary holes (where assembly and base attachment screws went with
the metal hulls) but this sounds more like a goof of some sort to me.
Fill them in and I doubt anyone would find fault with the model.
