I seem to recall having seen these pics before, but they weren't
called Heston's. I'm skeptical that they were really his.

If you're not really sure of the facts, why not wait until you can verify it. Or rather than just repeat an uncertainty, why not phrase it: "Does anyone know the details on this gun collection....[link]...?
This is not Heston's home in Beverly Hills and it is not his gun collection.

This house and collection belonged to Bruce Stern in Connecticut. The value of the collection is >$12million by some extimates. Half the collection was acutioned this past January. The other will be up for auction in October in case you're interested.

To me the alleged Heston connection was secondary to the truly outstanding
collection. I did research it but didn't find an outright confirmation or
denial.

My views on "Rights" have never changed. Anyhow, all I said is that I
found it interesting. I had no idea about his previous views until I
did a web search looking for "Real" pictures of his gun collection.

People that were gun grabbers that finally "get it" and turn around seem
to make the best gun right supporters. :-)
A good example of that is Paxton Quigley.
