Dear Composer:

I'm designing a "Composers' Corner" on the "Internet Resources for
Violin/Viola Students" at:

http://beststudentviolins.com/resources.html

Each composer could have a block of text, comprised of links to their
works. Doesn't have to be free works -- though you could add one or
more free ones in there -- just simple pieces for violin, viola and
piano, if you have those.

I would head each section with something like "Original arrangements
(or works) by _composer's name_". You could update these any time you
wanted.

String players are constantly asking me for stuff and that page gets
about 500 hits a day, really popular.

You can email me, but if you'd like to chat with me regarding this, I
will be online in my chat room most of the day at:

I forgot to add the contact information; please don't reply directly
to the list as I WILL NOT be checking in here.

If you have works which you'd like to be linked from the Resources
page, please contact me at:

techfiddle at (no spam) yahoo . com (remove the spaces)

Works should be:

1. Available via a link or webpage;

2. Free or small fee (no fee charged to be added);

3. For solo violin, solo viola with or without piano accompaniment,
or string ensemble;

4. Send as short or as long a list as you wish, but each entry must
have a URL in order to be included (I can't store them for you).

Works will be listed at:

Internet Resources for Violin/Viola Students
http://beststudentviolins.com/resources.html

unless I get too many, and then I'll design a separate page, but still
linked from the Resources page.

Thanks!
Connie

Let me add one more thing. One of the composers that's going to be
listed, stores his material here:

http://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/download/get.pl?prod=scorch&com=sh

I don't know how that works or anything, and I don't work for them, or
have an affiliation with them, but looks like you can charge a small
fee...

I'm sure there are lots of other ways to do this, too, including
storing them on your own server...
