Hello! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far. At the risk of being
considered a spammer, I'm posting this event's information and schedule with
the hopes that some people may be interested and/or attend. It's a
motorcycle event so I'll presume this is on-topic enough to annoy only those
who are easily annoyed. <grin>

the basic info listed below is also on the web site in one form or another
including a downloadable registration form and official flyer for the event.
Below is the schedule for The Ride 2008. Note that registration is
necessary for the BBQ / party at Turtle Back Zoo on Sunday, July 27. You
can download the registration form from the web site listed below or meet up
with us at any of the "LIVE" pre-registration locations. You can always
visit www.YUNX.com for the latest information.
Here is the detailed event schedule:

Saturday, July 26:
106 Harrison Avenue
West Orange, NJ 07052
Doors open at 7:00 AM for registration, etc.
A full day of self-guided and group rides.
Free refreshments will be served as long as they last.
A group ride will depart at 11:30 AM for lunch at The Chatterbox.
7:00 PM presentation by the teens of www.TLCC.org
Get your maps and routes and/or join a group ride and get out into the
hills, fields, etc. Later that night at 7:00 PM is the first option for the
official presentation by the teens of www.TLCC.org, the group we are
benefiting this year. This presentation will include live music and a
theme-related message. Many maps and routes are being custom made for us by
Dustin of NJ Bike Map web site fame. Our routes are being "beta tested" now
and promise to be awesome.
Sunday, July 27:
106 Harrison Avenue
West Orange, NJ 07052
Free refreshments will be served as long as they last
9:00 AM presentation by the teens of www.TLCC.org
11:00 AM presentation by the teens of www.TLCC.org
This presentation will include live music and a theme-related message.
1:30 PM departure for the exciting police escorted ride. Destination -
Turtle Back Zoo and our big BBQ celebration! Please have your families ad
friends join us if they can! Tickets are available for purchase now at
www.YUNX.com or by visiting http://www.yunx.com/register2008.htm.
Special guest: Captain George Perez, Paterson Fire Department.
This is a rain or shine event as there is a covered outdoor section where
the BBQ will be served, etc.. This is a family friendly event that is open
to all in our community even if they don't ride. The food and the entry to
the zoo make this a wonderful picnic / BBQ option for anyone interested in
attending. We will eat and then have freedom to roam about the entire zoo
property.
