I ordered an AR free float forearm from these guys to build my Nordic
10/22, and a week has gone by with no word, no emails, and no part. I
called three times, twice on weekdays and once on Saturday, and no one
answered. I left a message each time and no one ever called back. The
only email contact is for the Webmaster, so I sent a note there.

Is this business still functional? Is it a scam? Is it some guy's home
business or what? Does anyone know a direct email for them? Does
anyone know where this company is located?

The order process is flaky - that set off alarm bells but I unwisely
ignored them. You have to manually enter the part number and
description into a blank order form, figure the total cost and then
hit Send. Maybe the guy is busily charging stuff to my card ;(

Has anyone else had problems like this?

If I don't hear from them by Monday I am going to call VISA and cancel
the order, since no one appears to be at home at UWS. I will then
write a letter of complaint to the BBB, if I can figure out where UWS
is located.

In the meantime, I have to recommend that you DO NOT order anything
from this place!

Thanks for any assistance.

Simple solution here. Follow through with you idea to call your credit card
company and cancel the charge for lack of delivery.

Thanks for the replies. The phone number doesn't reach a live person,
but the address might be useful later, if he charges my card. I would
be willing to bet it's a residence. I called and left a cancel message
on his machine, and emailed the webmaster (again).... still no
response as of 11 days after the order.

BTW, I found a second website run by this guy - it appears nearly
identical in every way except that it has a different "Authorized US
Governemet Vendor" number. That sounds really suspicious to me.

Ultimate Weapons Systems: http://www.uws.com/

All Tactical: http://www.alltactical.com/ This one has a "Top 5% of
All Websites" banner - I find that hard to believe.... unless it means
"Top 5% Annoying Scam Won't Anwser the Phone Sites"

Do you guys think they are legitimate or a scam? If I heard from a
single person who had good service I would not feel quite so
annoyed....

Thanks.

I posted at RimfireCentral and someone gave me this link - looks like
I'm not alone:

"Ultimate Weapons Systems aka All Tactical Supply Charged me for a
cancelled order and Lied about refunding my money ripoff"

Sad, sad...... I hate crooks.

I called and left a "Cancel!" message on their voice mail. I suggest
that you do the same - that way you can honestly say that you killed
your order. Whether they actually listen to your message is moot.
