What to do what to do.
It seems so easy to say pack the cat off to the vet any time you need
anything, but I can't afford it, and this cat was a stray and won't talk
to anybody but me. If a long haired cat has some mats on the top of her
bum, do they have to be dealt with by a vet, or are there alternatives?
I wish she would deal with it herself, but some cats just don't I guess.
My housecat with the short hair grooms himself 24/7, but the little girl
doesn't, and her hair is so long, once she gets her tongue on it, it takes
two jerks of the head to get to the ends. (poor thing and...ew)
I brush her every night and I work my fingers under the smaller ones to
get them off, but these on her bum are adamant.
Do people use shavers on their cats like on animal planet, those things
you use if you shave your head...or is that too dangerous?

if you are nervous about doing it yourself call a mobile groomer to come
do it at your house
they make pet grooming products with the correct cutting end on it but they
are the same as what we use
