The St. Louis English Country Dancers present our annual spring Playford
Ball this coming Saturday, May 3rd. The Ball will be held at First
Congregational United Church of Christ, 6501 Wydown Blvd. (just inside
Clayton, an inner ring suburb of St. Louis; enter the driveway to the
Washington University dorms complex, west of the church, then immediately
turn right into the church parking lot). We'll be dancing on the second
floor. The Ball will run from 7:30 - 10:30 pm; formal dress (YOUR
definition); light snacks welcomed for the break. Music will be provided by
the Original Speckled Band; all dances will be taught and led by Peter
Wollenberg and friends. Admission is $20.00 per dancer (students $5.00).
A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
