Hi - My cat, Mitzi, a female, ten years old, has been missing for five
days. She's vulnerable as she's on medication for seizures, also a
nervous cat who rarely left the house, except to walk around a small
garden. On Saturday evening she was frightened by seeing a neighbour's
large dog nearby and ran, but we're not sure in which direction. We're
in a town, mostly houses, gardens, and roadway, but she'd never been
near a road as our house is in a small mews. I'm trying to cling on to
some hope and would like to her from anyone who has had a similar set
of circumstances - should I accept the inevitable and presume she
hasn't survived, or should I go on searching. I've sent out flyers and
put her picture in the local post office, and of course been out, also
my husband, many times.

If it was my cat, I would never stop searching. Five days is not that
long. Good luck. |

Thank you for this heartening reply. It's Sunday morning and still no
sign - I switch from optimism to pessimism and back again all the
time. But your words brought comfort.
