have you paid any attention to the Oscar nominations any year?
First question, why did Gladiator win so many awards. It was not that good.
The one thing that did win two actor nominations was the Contender with Joan
Allen and Jeff Bridges, , and it was the only one I thought for sure would
get nominations. (other than Crouching Tiger which is a shoo in and really
incredibly good)
But Tom Hanks oh geeze common enough already.
And JOY despite all the yelling, not one nomination for Gillian Anderson
ANYWHERE for House of Mirth
