There was one petition complaining about a super-mosque.
Anyone who signed up to it got a snotty email claiming to be from
Downing > Street calling them a racist.

No, they were sent an email explaining that the super-mosque story was
a hoax.
I was sent an email telling me that the prime minister thought the
whole thing was racist.
Which proves? There is a reason that hearsay is not allowed in courts,
it's not reliable! However I did read the petition, and IMHO it was
racist, it was also based on a false premise. The originator of the
petition also if I remember correctly had links with the BNP.
Since you ask, it proves that the preceding comment was inaccurate.

I hadn't realised who you were, If I had I woudn't have replied.

I usually don't engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent, but in
your case, I'll make an exception.

I won't.

I'm fed up of the chip on your shoulder; where we normally meet I'm
bound by other rules, here I'm not, but I'm not sure I have the stomach
for the kill. You seem have decided a long time ago that it was
personal, and I have lost count of the number of times I have walked
away in the other place and not replied to your comments, I suggest that
you don't push it again.
I'm now leaving this thread.

And you claim it isn't?

"Comments" is what usenet is about - it's called "discussion" - not everyone
agrees with you.
Perhaps this is why you demonstrably find social interaction so difficult.

That's two threads you've left in one day. Are you running crying to your mother?

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

No idea, only seen him in these two threads. He's probably someone we all know but he's changed his sock name again.

Come to think of it, there are already a million monkeys on a million typewriters, and Usenet is nothing like Shakespeare

The BNP is a perfectly valid party and has more sensible policies than
the rest of them.
Your opinion has been noted.

What's that supposed to mean?

It is supposed to mean that I have made a note of your opinion.

No its not.
