I have Montgomery-Ward,Chrysler,Force or whatever it is now 6 hp. twin cyl.
outboard motor in very good condition and I hate to scrap the thing would
like purchase a new prop and cone for it, I do not know what pitch it is as
there is no prop on it...Can anybody help me out or steer me in the right
direction much thanks Paul |

Any idea what year???
Serial # ??????
One option,
Check gear ratio (flywheel turns for one complete rotation of prop in
forward gear) then find a 6 HP motor with a similar ratio and copy
that pitch.
Caution, if your motor exhausts thru the prop, make sure the new
"bastard" does too, or it'll look like you tossed a tub of Alka-seltza
overboard (may go faster in reverse!). |
