It has been going around that they have been unhappy about moving the
world cup matches (PCBs share) to Dubai and Abu Dhabi with some vague
statements about keeping it in south east asia. This hardly seems a
quibbling point in any case but specially since ther own domestic
flagship was just conducted in South Africa. So what's the real
reason? (Nor could it be match fixing since this is an ICC event and
their anti-corruption guys will be on it and considering the fact that
BCCI itself rejected the anti-corruption cover for its own
tournament). |

Not sure what is the real reason but it is good for India if no
matches are held
in nations which openly support criminals and provide them safe
heavens. However,
I am not suggesting that BCCI ever puts national interest ahead of
it's own.
You can never be sure of what ulterior motives would BCCI have.
