Sorry for not answering point by point but it seems mostly going off on
tangents and I'd rather refocus on what Platini said:

That's ok, I didn't really expect you to come up with anything to
support your claim about the Real property dealings

Quote:
"Every club in the world would like to have Ronaldo."
"It's part of the system we have today. Players move from club to club and I
can understand why Real Madrid want him."

"They had di Stefano and Puskas in the past, and as Ronaldo is considered
one of the best or the best player in the world it's normal.

"If the club has the finances they can do it, if they don't have the money
they can't."

I don't see any glaring contradiction with his previous statements despite
what some of the english press would like us to believe. If the english want
some new rules about debt levels and such to prevent RM to even have a shot
at CR, I am sure that Platini would like to hear what they have to say.

Then it becomes a matter of interpretation.

I don't believe that English clubs said anything about wanting new
rules on level of debt.
I'm pretty sure Platini did, and I'm
pretty sure he used Englisgh clubs as his example, even going so far
as to suggest that they were cheating.

You may not see any contradiction in him appearing to lend support to,
say Real Madrid, in a quest to spend millions on dollars on a player
on a foreign player, but when he's previously criticised other clubs
for spending millions of dollars on foreign players, some people might
see some hypocrisy in such a statement
