WWII U.S. Marine Wool Overcoat, c. 1942
This WWII U.S. Marine Wool Overcoat is in excellent condition. It is a full
length coat of OD green wool material. The coat has 4 large USMC black
buttons on each side (double breasted type coat) and 2 waist pockets. The
size is 1S. The inside is marked with the quartermasters stamp,
(Quatermasters Dept, U.S. Marine Corps, 1942-43, 1-S). The overall length is
47 inches. The sleeve length is 23 ½ inches long. There is a 12"
quartermaster repair on one side, but this is not visible because of the
double breasted overlap. There are no other defects and no moth holes or
stains.
