Corrections from Lyon Clerk:
....the dog will be one of the female black Labradors owned by Sir
Malcolm and is, I think, the one called Sable (most appropriate for a
herald's dog)...the St. John Service does not show the Lord Lyon but
Colonel Lawson...the five Heralds in sunlight after the Installation of
the Governor of Edinburgh Castle in 1982 are (in front left to right)
Sir Iain Moncreiffe of that Ilk, Bt., Albany Herald; Sir Malcolm Innes
of Edingight, Lord Lyon; Don Pottinger, Islay Herald; (behind) Sir
Crispin Agnew of Lochnaw, Bt., then Unicorn Pursuivant and now Rothesay
Herald; and John Spens, then Carrick Pursuivant and now Albany
Herald...the dates against some of the pictures are not accurate...the
last two photographs of the Honours of Scotland in Crown Square were
taken in 1953 when Her Majesty made Her post coronation visit to
Scotland...
