In the late '80s, I found a tape of
celtic-worldmusic-type-singer-songwriter stuff which had a song on it
with the following chorus:
"Come all ye poor, naive young drivers
Be careful how you buy your cars.
They may run well when first you drive them
You'll never know how bad they are"
The singer then goes on to list the crappy cars he's bought and what
went wrong with them. It's a funny song, sung as a dirge.
Anybody have any idea of the artist? I googled the lyrics and came up
with nothing. |
