An interesting ladder with the bottom team only 1 win away from the last
direct qualifying position. From an OFC point of view it appears unlikely
that the OFC Champs will play Brazil or Argentina, but everyone else is
still a possibility at this stage. SHould be some interesting matches over
the next few months.

Any comments on these Argentina and Brasil matches? I haven't found out too
much helpful info in English on the web. Brasil drawing with Colombia is a
small surprise to me, what is more surprising is the 0-0 result. Same holds
true for the Argies.

Man, Uruguay have to shape up quickly, or they will be missing out. It may be
too late. Bolivia is a team that Uruguay should win against, or at the least
score a goal. Is Chevanton back to 100% yet? Has Recoba been playing for
Uruguay?

At home yes; away at 3000 metres altitude (if they played in La Paz ) ,
Bolivia is a tough opponent.

Will not be so easy, once again because of the altitude in Quito.

I'm glad to see that Peru is back in it with a fighting chance to take
that last spot. Getting a point from Paraguay in an away match isn't
easy. |
