Hi all.

I'm looking for some Miami diving info.
I'm coming over to Miami next march and wonder if anyone can help with
the following questions?

First off, I found these, are they any good to dive with? Recommended?
Comments about them? etc.

http://www.tarpoondivecenter.com/index.html

If not then who else?

What's the water temps like in March in relation to a wet/dry suit to be
worn?

How good/bad is the viz and does it change throughout the year at all?

Any other comments people want to add that might help will be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob.

This site has a lot of good info about the Miami area.
http://southbeachdivers.com/

Water temp in March will be between 71 and 75 F. There have been spikes
as low as 67, but rare. On deeper wrecks you can hit very low 60s.

In SoFla, viz is totally unpredictable, in large part because we dive in
eddies of the Gulf Stream, nutrient upwellings, and storm water runoff.
Typically, March has good viz, 60 - 80' but it might be 30' in the
morning and 130' the same afternoon. Locals don't ask, just get in the
water and take what they get.

Miami is not known for its diving. You will find more and better to the
south (the upper keys for touristy shallow reefs) and the north (Ft
Lauderdale for wrecks, Boynton for reefs).

Enjoy yer visit.
