Getting ready for the annual jaunt to The SouthLand. You may see the
tentative itinerary at http://SwingCha.net/WhereIs.html#TSL You may
also scroll up to see earlier in the year but there's no reason to.

Don't know where to go Saturday, November 21. Went to the Pasadena
Ballroom in a recent year and will go back if I must. Another year was
a dance at the synagogue on Ventura Boulevard that was OK.

Also don't know where is the Sunday afternoon Mambo/Salsa gig that's
rumored to be attended by old people like me.

Any suggestions for daytime activities, as well as evening dances, are
most welcome, please.

Just got on the DWTS wait list for tickets. If I get 'em, it'll be for
November 23 and I'll take you with me. I presume seating time is
around four o'clock. If you have 'em and can take me, I'll join you.

Also made a reservation for the Getty Villa for Wednesday, November
25.

You may want to check my website at http://www.ocdance.com/thisweek.html
.. It is updated weekly. I will be updating the "coming soon" section
near the bottom of the page in the next week for events closer to the
US Open.

Fabulous! Thank you, Nancy.

We provide a similar service:
Calendars of regularly-scheduled dances are linked to:
http://AboutDancing.info/index.html#Calendars

and we have a Special Events page that includes WHO's Playing, CHANGES
to Regular Schedules, CANCELLATIONS, etc., at http://AboutDancing.info/Specials.html
It's updated as frequently as necessary, sometimes more than once a
day.

The calendars are:
COUNTRY/WESTERN Dancing in San Francisco and its sub-urbs.

LATIN-AMERICAN Dancing in San Francisco and its sub-urbs.

MUSIC dancers enjoy in, and near, San Francisco. (Take a partner!)*

OTHER Dancing (Ballroom, Blues, Hustle, etc.) in and near San
Francisco.

SENIOR dances in San Francisco and nearby*

SWING Dancing in San Francisco and within 80 miles of City Hall.

TANGO ARGENTINO Dancing in San Francisco and within 80 miles of City
Hall.

The DanceFest calendar has events that last at least three days and
two nights such as the USOpen, SwingDiego, SwingThing, etc.

We'll certainly be checking your site before hitting The Road.
However, we still like to be told where, of the many choices, we
should go.

*Not included in the composite calendar.

“Many of the oldies but good mambo dancers from New York and back east
still get together and dance at a club in Hollywood on a Sunday
afternoon.”

Any comment on these?
