Lambda Zouk is now a big part of The Notting Hill Scene.
As well as bars, clubs, cinemas and resturants, Lambada Zouk dance is
now a major fixture of the Notting Hill life.
Lindale once again returns to the Tabernacle to teach his A special
Lambada Zouk beginners workshop. Known as the most innovative Zouk
teacher in London, Lindale teaches a well structured class designed
to bring the best out of his students. The class starts of with a
warm up which is a combination of ballet, jazz, contempory and
pilates followed by some basic steps drills. We then go into partner
work, really working on sound principles of lead and follow,
establishing a connection with your partner and utilizing skills
developed in the warm up and applying it to partner work. This is
followed by a short choreography again relating to everything that's
taught in the first half of the class followed by a warm down.
The Workshop takes place December 13th
Tabernacle
Talbot Road & Powis Square
London W11
Time: 3:00 pm
Price: £10 at the door, 9 Pounds in advance.
Due to the nature of the class it is vital that you come on time, as
no students will be admitted if they miss the warm up. |
