What do you think about the Kel Tec P-11 pistol (9mm) as a CCW gun

I'm on my 3rd. Good gun, mature design, any bugs were resolved years
ago. Mine runs like a train. Fits my hand about as well as anything I
own, except a 1911 or Hi-Power.
I pocket carry, but this one's a bit too big for my pockets unless I
start wearing suspenders.
I think Alex must be right. The only time I've had feed issues was using
the KT 12-round mag. But I only ran one load through mine. Additional
testing scheduled. In the meantime, the 10-rounds mags work fine, and
so does the S&W 15-rnd, so far.

I bought 1 of the 12 round factory as soon as they started offering them to
us at the end of the ban. Took it to the range and it worked fine. I loaded
it back up and carried it that way for weeks. next trip to the range it
would not feed even one round. Took it apart and put it back together a
couple times and it started working again, but I would never trust it after
that. When you look at what they did to get those extra rounds in there you
can see why it can screw up.
As for S&WE I tried some in mine and they would not work at all so I just
gave up. From talking to many other KT owners this is common. For some
reason many of them will but many of them will not work with the S&WE mags,
at least not without some modification.

I carried one for several years (about 10) a while back. Aside from
the fact that you do need to shoot it a fair amount to be comfortable
with the 500 lb trigger pull it is pretty good. My fingers are too fat
for the curve in the face of the trigger, so I had to do a bit of
modification to make it comfortable. I kept it very clean and used dry
lube on it for carry to avoid the oil on your clothes problems. Over
the years I carried it I used a belly band holster, an Uncle Mike's
IWB holster and a homemade IWB holster. Regardless of the carry method
it was flat enough to conceal easily - even though I almost never wore
a jacket - and was never particularly uncomfortable to wear.
Mine is no longer used for carry on a regular basis, but it has had
many thousands of rounds through it and has not had any breakages or
problems.
In short, I think it is a very good concealed carry gun at a
reasonable price.

I have had one since they came out in 1995.
I just changed the Wikipedia page on the P11 to show that year, not
1991.
We will see how long the edit of a non-Che-worshiper lasts on
Wikipedia.
