Help Identifying Cartoon Short...

I am trying to find the names of a cartoon short I remember watching
years back. The first involved a guy trying to stock/seed a fishery.
I think he used a boat and a helicopter at times. There may have been
a conveyor belt with lots of little fish. And he had a bucket. Not
much to go on but it has been bugging me for some time.

This rings no bells.

My first question would be - do you know *who* produced it?! (Warner
Brothers? MGM? Hanna-Barbara? etc.)

Second - Do you know *old* it was? (Was it 30s-40s era? 50s era? 60s
era?)

Answering these questions might help in narrowing it down...

Unfortunately I have no idea who produced or when it was produced. If
I had to guess I would say it was from the 1950s or 1960s but because
I have only the vaguest recollections of it I cannot be sure. I am
relatively certain it wasn't a Disney or Hanna-Barbara production.

Well, I just remember the disney one with the bear trying to eat all
the fish as the park ranger is stocking the lakes. He used a
helicopter as well, sounds very much like what you a describing.

I, actually, did some checking on YouTube and it turns out the short you're
looking for is 'Hooked Bear', a cartoon made by the Walt Disney Studio in
1956.

If I'm not mistaken, this and several other Humphrey cartoons were
'compiled' into a Disney special called 'The Ranger of Brownstone'.
(although the 'conveyor belt' you're thinking of may have been a
'victory garden' the ranger used to plant and 'fertilize' fish eggs
....with a watering can, of all things).

Anyway, if it isn't cartoon you're looking for, we'll keep looking. ^_^

Lotsa luck.
