Does anyone have the torque specs for a Polaris/Fuji 488 Liquid cooled
machine (1999 Classic)? |

Crankcase bolts: 8mm - 18 ft. lb.
10mm - 26 ft. lb
Cylinder base: 24 - 28 ft. lb
Head bolts: 18 - 19 ft. lb. (Make sure the nuts for
the shroud are on the right studs.)
Flywheel nut: 60 - 65 ft. lb.
There are two shroud bolts above the flywheel that get tightened after
the shroud is on.
Recoil hub 8 - 10 ft. lb
There are gaskets between the shroud and the engine on the intake side.
