I use powdered garlic instead of "fresh".

But, I'm never sure of how much to substitute.

Is there a rule of thumb ? like;
"1 clove of garlic = 1/2 tsp of garlic powder" ??

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

| I agree with the gist of what you said, but Lou is right. They are
| not sock puppets. They could be a cohort... but they aren't in
| cahoots, so they're not. They just annoy you.

If not in cahoots, they feed upon each other. Look back to recent
postings in which one of them, usually Andy, gratuitously insults
someone. Just about invariably Greg and Sheldumb will chime
in very quickly, echoing whatever was said. They have taken
control of homophobia, insults about physical handicaps, and
pointless vulgar derision of known female posters. And as
soon as one does it, the others usually pile on to show that (I
guess) they are also so cute as to mirror what the others of the
three said. Look at the last six months or so; it is plain as day.
Whatever one of them insults, the other two chime in, assuming
they are around. Sort of like the mob of Zombies in "Night of the
Living Dead;" in fact they are probably more like those Zombies
than anything else. Brainless drones aping their own peer group.

And I know that Lou is not in that group I outlined, he just, as
you said, "annoyed" me tonight. Sorry about that. No, they
are not sock puppets. Zombies. And they are annoying, all of
that drool on the ground behind them.
