American life is not more valuable than Iraqi's lives. McCain said the
empire would be in Iraq for 60 or 600 years. The only thing that will
work is if Iraqis resist and fight the USA.
Obama is not one of 'us' he is one of 'them.' He wants to squash Iraqi
lives in his goals for empire, US troops are insects to be used as
pawns. Did you ever hear what Cheney said about Troops, how they are
dumb, pawns to be used? Again: Obama is not one of 'us' he is one of
'them.

well within his projections of leaving...

Promised 16 months in the campaign, now set for combat troops at 19
months. He is actually doing better than I expected stopping most combat
missions.

you willing to bet on us being out at 19 months??? i dont think you
will...

I agree I wanted them gone years ago...but
I doubt one bombing is going to to change the current plans.
The Iraqi "government" pulled down the barriers on those buildings to
show how wonderful things are now.

As for the American men right now they are safer in Iraq than Afghanistan...

And Afghanistan they are not training security forces anytime soon nor
winning any 'surges'.

The Afghani troops are 80 stoned most of the time.
And always available to the highest bidder. Been that way for centuries.

bet on it? Not hardly ...Combat troops mostly I think they will be out,
but they will likely just be moved to Afghanistan...

10.21.2009
WASHINGTON - Although much work remains to draw down the U.S. troop
presence in Iraq, Pentagon officials told Congress here today the
Defense Department is well on schedule to meet President Barack Obama's
withdrawal timeline.

Obama announced in February plans for a responsible drawdown of forces
in Iraq. His plan, in accordance with the U.S.-Iraq security agreement
signed in 2008, called for U.S. forces there to cede operations within
city limits by June 30 and ultimately transition into an assistance and
advisory force for the Iraqis. By Aug. 31, 2010, only 50,000 troops are
expected to remain in country, and by Dec. 31, 2011, all U.S. forces
should be withdrawn.

"We've continued along the timeline laid out by the president," Michelle
Flournoy, undersecretary of defense for policy, said before the House
Armed Services Committee. "We continue to plan for and implement a
responsible U.S. drawdown, one that advances our goal of a stable,
sovereign and self-reliant Iraq. We are continuing our efforts to train
and equip [Iraqi security forces] so they can effectively defend the
Iraqi people and protect Iraqi institutions by the end of 2011."

Since January, the U.S. military footprint in Iraq has decreased from
more than 143,000 troops to about 120,000. And this week, an Army
brigade combat team was off-ramped from its scheduled January deployment
there.

Navy Vice Adm. James Winnefield, strategic plans and policy director for
the Joint Staff, followed Flournoy's testimony and added that some
aspects of the withdrawal plan are ahead of schedule. U.S. troops occupy
around 200 fewer bases in Iraq than in January, and 35,000 fewer
civilian contractors are on the ground there today, he said.

Winnefield also reminded the committee of the Army brigade this week
that was off-ramped, and that only 10 brigade-size units will be
operating in Iraq by the country's January elections.

You can't call President Obama even an American. There are supposed to
be certain key, core values that make you an American. Obama is
against the idea of a citizen receiving a fair trial (Obama has
proposed the concept of Preventative Detention, which even Herr Bush
didn't dare do). Obama doesn't believe in the concept that a person
under his incarceration should not be abused or tortured. Obama is
Bush III.

you forgot to tell him to kick a puppy and lynch all wayward negroes while
he was at it. You know, other behaviors people of your type engage in.
