However, there are so many cute mini donks at the Del Oso Pumpkin
Patch/Corn Maze, my favorite fall destination, in Lathrop, CA. My
mini donk doesn't even compare to the cuteness that is to be seen
there! There is a suckling foal mini donk and he has the softest,
silkiest hair I have ever felt on an animal. It's amazing.

Yes, I know two.

Tomorrow I get to trim Jacob...he's another one just about four inches above
my knee, and I had to snub him up tight to a tree when he first came to his
new owner's, since she didn't have the hand strength to hold him. His
previous owners were a couple of rough and tumble teenage girls who ended up
sitting on him a few times 'til he got the picture. He thought maybe it
would be different in the new place.
There's one in Ocala, that we have to trap in a stall, and snub him up
to a pole for the farrier to trim him.

We had to do that with Jacob at first (this was maybe ten years ago). The
girls were only around ten and twelve.
As they grew, Jacob was more and more outnumbered. I think he thought he
was shrinking. He was quite the gentleman for the last few years there, but
of course he wasn't going to miss the chance at another try when he moved to
the new place. Bummer for him. ;>)
