Who are the accompanists on Tommy's "Waiting for a Call" album? I'd bet
several beers one of them is Alec Finn, but I don't know about the others.

I was listening to the samples on Amazon, and I'd thought I'd died and
gone to heaven.

Accompanists can make or break a fiddle album, IMHO. You've only got to
contrast Frankie & Alec's album with anything by Michael Coleman...

Since I've the CD somewhere in a box, I can look it up for you. Still
interested?

Eleven of the 16 tracks were recorded around 1985 with the assistance
of Alec Finn on bouzouki and (on just a few tracks) Donal Lunny on
bodhran and Sean Potts on pipes. The other tracks were recorded in
2002 with guitarist John Doyle of Solas.

If I were a fiddle player, being accompanied by those guys would be my
dream.

OK, this album's for me.

What a clueless wanker Tony MacMahon is.
