With Lyon and Bordeaux both at the top of their
respective groups at the halfway stage, Ligue 1
are doing better than Serie A and Bundesliga.

Yes, it helps that things at the top of Ligue 1 have stabilized a bit,
and all three of this year's entrants have recent CL experience. Plus
Marseille and Bordeaux are well coached teams, and Lyon has good
resources and tons of experience at this level.  I expected all three to
do well (hence, perhaps, my score in the SPC ?)

What kind of support do clubs like Bordeaux and Lyon have ?
Comparable to Marseille?

No. Quieter.

En coupe d'Europe, quand on dit diplomatiquement que l'arbitre
n'était pas dans un bon soir, c'est toujours le club français
qui morfle.

Nope. OM always leads in attendance 44 k average so far this year,
51 k last year, 53 k the year before.

PSG is usually second (37 k this year, 37 k, 36 k, past two)

Lyon is not far behind PSG (34.5 k, 36.5 k, 37 k)

Bordeaux does not have huge support ( 29 k ,28 k, 26.5 k)

Lens is usually up there ahead of Bordeaux.

None of these clubs has comparable support to eg.
Dortmund, Schalke, Bayern and HSV, and Lyon and Bordeaux not even at the
same level as Gladbach, Köln, Frankfurt, Hertha and Stuttgart (or Bremen
last year) (or the bigger Spanish and Italian clubs, or Man UNited,
Arsenal, Liverpool. Chelsea, Sunderland, Man City, Villa, Newcastle etc).
