Both of Lara's proteges are under Sachin's guru-kul...

This one's for Don and tendlya.com: Have you guys noticed that both of
Lara's proteges/prodigies i.e. Dwayne Bravo and Bharath play for
Mumbai Indians? With the open mutual-respect that Lara and Sachin
demonstrate for each other, I suspect Lara would have been "in the
know" (maybe influenced Sachin Smile ) of Bravo and Bharath going to MI.
Nice to see the two maestros are there for each other's proteges.

Lara has long acknowledged that Sachin is every way superior to him.
Lara is Sachin ka chela. I think its only some Indians who don't
recognize
the greatness of Sachin...for non Indians including ponting(as
admitted by
him recently) Sachin playing for 20 long yrs and being consistent
throught and carrying expecations of 1 billion people (last 2
tournament finals won by India were due to him) is an amazing thing
coz they would never be able to match the combination of these
factors...lot of times Sachin's contributions are diluted by pathetic
show by rest of the mostly mediocre Indian bowling attack.....

Great players will usually respect one another. Another thing they
have in common
is that both are extremely nice people when you meet them personally
one to one. Smile
