But it does seem to me that I have seen most of the underside from
stem to stern at one time or another. I have seen a "pinkish" cast on
occasion, but never a "red belly" like I have a "red head" (on lots of
stuff but not the Woodpecker of that name).)
I guess we would need to bird using a shotgun like James J. did then
maybe the red belly could be seen--I do not recommend it thought.
