I mean, I'm sure, hal, that even in the face of this conclusive PROOF
that you voted for the Bankermanchurian Candidate, you'll continue to
bleat about Busch and the GOP and all of this crap when he is simply
part of the same party as NeObama is. =A0That would be the THEY party.
We are the WE party. =A0These two parties are not the same.
My solution, again, is to vote every motherfucker out, stop wasting
your vote on main party candidates, and essentially to burn down the
socialist leviathan government.
I mean seriously. =A0You know that isn't going to happen.
Same bullshit defeatist attitude as spuds and herbert.
You motherfuckers are pathetic.
then we are FUCKED and you will go down with the ship, asshole.
I'm being realistic. The entire country is not suddenly going to vote
all their reps out of offfice en mass. It just ain't gonna happen.
So now what?
Besides being totally fucked, I mean. I've known about how totally
fucked we are much longer than you. But do you have any suggestions
for something that actually has a chance of happening?

Gridlock would be preferable to what we have now.
Most of the best economic growth in recent memory has come during
terms when one party held the legislative branch, and the other held
the executive. Most of the worse economic declines have come when the
same party held both.
It's all about checks and balances. When the power is split,
everything the government does it up to real scrutiny; and when
something does actually come out it is more likely to have broad,
evidence based support. |

No. Because that asinine defeatist pussy attitude of yours is
widespread.
You LIKE the partisan sniping more than anything. You and the others
are like fucking two frats squaring off shouting at each other on the
deck of the Titanic. It's just so pointless and idiotic, but I guess
it gives you a reason to exist.
I've done my part to vote incumbents out, but if nobody will join me,
then, yes YOU are fucked. In the head.
Now tell me a nice story again about how NeObama the GS puppet is
going to fix everything but the evil republicans won't let him.

Lay down the crack pipe man.
A democrap congress gave us TARP and Porkulus, both with a GOP
president and one from their own party. Both parties are assraping us
while the taxpayer pulls the train. Want me to go down the list of
the GOP bills that clitton signed that paved the way for this shit?

Quote: again, I'm being realistic. You aren't going to get everyone in the

anything anyway. The lobbyists will simply keep dumping their

Then nothing can be changed and the entire system will collapse, which
is what you are hoping happens because it is your only shot at being
somebody.
But things aren't going to work out the way you think they will.

They MUST. There is not way out of it. We are in an extreme CC
overshoot period. We have surpassed peak oil, peak food, and peak
water by a longshot. A catastrophic crash is inevitable. There is no
other alternative. The only question remains is how long, and how bad
the crash. |

You say that like it's a bad thing. Given the fact of evolution, it
would appear that death through disease, starvation, and other effects
of polluted water are merely natural selection for the part of the
human race too dumb to not piss in the soup. The more of them that die
the more water for the fittest! I suggest that a few decent wars in
those parts would greatly help things along...Oh wait. |

peak water?
Have we burned up all the earth's water already?
do you know what clean water is? =A0Do you know how many people in the
world do not have access to clean water? =A0Do you know how much
diseased is caused by polluted water?
So, a lot of folks don't have clean water - a
completely new phenomenon in world history
(the rich stole it all) - that's peak water?
good god it's hard educating you people. The problem is there is NO
clean water in many parts of the world. EVERYTHING IS POLLUTED.
Varying water quality in civilizations throughout history is
irrelevent to the fact that of the total remaining worldwide fresh
water supply an increasingly huge portion of it is permanently
polluted and no longer fit for human consumption. That is a totally
unprecidented occurance in human history.

Most of the potable "clean" water in use today, by a WIDE margin, is used
in agriculture as irrigation, not for direct human consumption. If there
are aquifers being depleted (and there's good evidence to suggest that
some are) then it is because of open air irrigation methods which grow the
food that is exported to people in countries which have neither food nor
aquifers or other "clean water" sources.
If there is such a thing as "peak water" its impact is NOT on drinking and
bathing, but on GROWING FOOD.
But hal is too stupid, deliberately uninformed, narrow minded, and short
sightedly cheer-leading his pet political and social causes to know this.
