So, how many recuts are already floating around YouTube et al? Attempts
to retell the story in chronological order, rather than the scramble we got?

Dave Van Domelen, thought at first it was hallucinations 24 was having.

I'm going to have to watch it again once I'm awake and had my coffee.

It is simply breathtaking to watch the glee and abandon with which
the liberal media and the Angry Left have been attempting to turn
our military victory in Iraq into a second Vietnam quagmire. Too bad
for them, it's failing.

And boy, was it weird. This is what you get when your season finale did
things that were really hard to undo because you thought it might be the
end.

That can't be. It was renewed for two seasons after season 2.

And boy, was it weird. This is what you get when your season finale did
things that were really hard to undo because you thought it might be the
end. It took me a while to figure out what they were doing with the freeze
frames and the blue bar titles (actually, it took a pause and a google, at
which point I laughed out loud), but it was a lot of fun. I'm glad they
*didn't* undo the Hank and Dean "infinite vulcan" thing, but they've got
to get 24 back somehow!

The last few weeks I've been having this horrible problem with CN where any
of their HD shows had a sound track that was so loud that you could barely
hear the dialogue. It wasn't happening on any other content so I didn't
know what the heck to do - I was expecting Venture Brothers to be
unwatchable this week because the reruns have had that problem. But they
seem to have fixed it for the most part. I still think the music track is
too dang loud, but at least I could hear what was going on. *

It wasn't a scramble, it was a "memento". And they did a fine job. *

Sledge Hammer cleared that hurdle, no problem.

Yeah, it was in plain reverse order.

Yeah, it was in plain reverse order.

Frankly, I am tired of that narrative technique.
It was new and cool in "Pulp Fiction"; now, not so much.

Yeah, it was in plain reverse order.

Specifically, it was a pile of comic books read from newest to oldest. *

How about "non-linear" order?

Yeah, I cracked up when I finally realized what those numbers meant.

I cringed at seeing how quickly 21's comic book depreciated.

Here it is correct order:

1. Brock gets HELPER's head stuck in his chest and escapes from OSI,
even as OSI do some sort of brainwashing on Sgt Hatred to make him good
again/cure him of his pedophilia

2. 21 steals the Venture Brothers jet, fails to get Orpheus to resurrect
24 (with Doctor Orpheus refusing to do so, either out of "he can't
actually raise the dead" reveal or because he knew 21 couldn't pay him
and as such, lied to get off his back). He then offers to give Rusty a
UBER rare copy of Marvel Comics #1 to Rusty Venture to clone 21 as a
child, after we get confirmation on the "Rusty can only make clone
babies, not instant adult clones".

3. Brock gives his communicator to Dean and says goodbye.

4. Nazis have the guy who did Hunter Gatherer's sex change operation put
Hitler's brain into a dog. Said doctor then removes Helper's head from
Brock's chest/put a metal chest plate over the wound. Helper is then
mailed back to the Ventures with his jacket.

5. Brock hides with Steve Austin and his Big Foot lover, getting fat in
the process as he recovers from the surgery. Somehow realizes that
Hunter/Molotov sicced the assassins on him/made him think OSI was behind
the attack.

6. The Nazis show up at Rusty's place and give him the Hitler dog and
demand he make a baby clone of Hitler in eight months or else. The
Hitler dog suprisingly takes to Dean, creating some form of bond that
means that only Dean can kill him (though this was later debunked).

7. Hank gets the box with Helper and the Jacket, starts to let himself
go as far as long hair and starts feuding with Sgt Hatred trying to
force the kids to like his shitty taste in music and pizza to create
unity amongst the three. Dean responses by becoming an even bigger
pussy, while Hatred and Hank bond when Hank (a horrible shot with a gun)
wounds Hatred in the arm when Hatred calls Hank's bluff and demands he
kill him.

8. Brock invades the Blackheart HQ, where Molotov mentions there being a
mole in her organization. Running into a SPHINX agent, Brock starts a
fight and gets discovered by Hunter/Molotov. Gets tossed out of a window
before the fight can get underway and gets captured by SPHINX, who are
waiting outside....

9. Where Brock discovers that the surgeon, Hunter Gatherers, Shore Leave
and his lover/roommate are part of SPHINX, and that Hunter's sex
change/alliance with Molotov was a ploy to get close to her for some
reason yet to be revealed.

10. Nazis come calling for their Hitler Clone, even as Orpheus realizes
that the dog is evil and has to be destroyed. Rusty gets held captive by
the Nazis and Sgt Hatred/Hank are outside with their guns while Doctor
Orpheus (dressed like the dude from Raiders of the Lost Ark) does a
magic lightning spell to kill the Nazis, saving Rusty and allowing for
Dean to kill Hitler (which he refuses to do). Along the way, the copy of
Marvel Comics #1 takes a lot of damage.

11. A now Conan-esque 21 and his barbarian henchmen/LARP friends, arrive
to help Rusty out and check on the status of the 24 clone. The Venture
plane is now covered in graffiti-tribute to 24.

12. Brock shows up, in SPHINX agent garb, and kills the Hitler garb. Has
a tearful reunion with Hank and convinces him to stay quiet that he was
there. Hank takes credit for killing Hitler Dog.
