If Cobras beat Victoria, then Bangalore will be out of the tournament.
But they can still help keep their fellow-IPL team Delhi's hopes alive
by losing to them by a large margin. Will they do it?
Even if Victoria beat Cobras, Bangalore's chances are marginal at
best. Even in that case, it makes sense for them to lose to Delhi, so
that the latter can then go through with a simple win against Cobras
without having to worry about NRR.

IPL teams are so over rated. None of them would have made the second
round without their foreign players. I'm quite surprised at the lack
of depth in Indian cricket as well. I don't think India can even hope
to be no1 for a reasonable time with such average back up. Some of the
Indian pace bowlers playing wouldn't even cut it at the grade level in
Australia. |
