No assumption was necessary, Teague. Your posted recommendation

Classic unsubstantiated and erroneous claim. Rather, it was
beyond Malloy's strength of will to give up. Nearly two years
was enough to prove my point.

Of course. Anyone with sufficient Usenet experience can tell that.
Quote: So why not do the correct thing and put the onus on them rather
than on me?
The onus to stop trolling is on them since you don't troll. But
that is missing the point I'm making.
I am well aware of the nature of trolls, and as long as you
continue to cooperate and react the way they want, they will get
the amusement they crave and deprive you of the peace you
want.
Quote: You really should learn some history
You really should not assume I don't know some history.
Quote: before making the same old tired recommendations
that have been demonstrated to NOT WORK, Teague.
For a tiny minority of the trolls. Given human nature, it is doubtful
any course of action will be 100% effective.
Quote: I already tried the experiment. I ignored Malloy for the better part
of TWO YEARS. I didn't respond to his postings.
And it was beyond your strength of will to continue to ignore him.
Quote: Now, what did any of your posting have to do with OS/2, Teague?
I read and posted from another newsgroup, and for that reason
it had nothing to do with OS/2.

No, I didn't write that. It s part of the header which is hidden in my

making it visible and using it at the beginning of your responses.

I am a one-trick-pony Tholen. That trick is to read minds.
I am struggling to read your mind *now* ...
Nawh, there is nothing magical or extraordinary about reading a
person's. It's more to do with what I mean by reading-a-mind.
I am a one-trick-pony. To be honest, every person is a one-trick-pony.
My trick is to discern the single 'trick' that is used.
For me, reading a person's mind means to figure out their point of
view.
I am trying to clue into to your point of view. ... I am trying to see
where you are coming from.
*Tonight* I feel that I am catching onto it.
It's not easy to pick out your point of view. You sure are hyper
focused. Some would unflattering call that 'relentless' or 'obsessed'
or heartless, etc, etc said so many times over in many places.
It's misleading
Quote: What does that have to do with OS/2, Loonie?
What does that have to do with OS/2, Loonie?
What does that have to do with OS/2, Loonie?
Relentlessness?
Confrontational?
Bot?
Nawh ... It reminds me of an asteroid.
... An asteroid moving with inertia, free of perturbing influence.
A significant part of your point of view is ... as if it were moving,
undisturbed.
As things go, OS/2 has something of that quality ... carried into the
long goodnight with much inertia and little disruption.
I'm trying to pick out your point of view ... to see where you are
coming from ... and I have this sense .. this feel of a heavenly
body moving through space.
Much refinement is appropriate.

Doesn't touch. No perturbation. No friction. No connecting relevance.
There is much about your point of view that I am missing, that
confuses me, that is not familiar to me.
