If you have ever wanted to learn how to make a smoke bomb, you might
want to take a look at this stuff I put up on the Skylighter blog
yesterday at http://blog.skylighter.com/fireworks/2009/10/how-to-make-a-smoke-bomb.html
We just went thru 3 months of various colored smoke problems that
caused us no end of hassles and head scratching. Finally got it
figured out and resolved the problem. So I wrote up a little
description of what went wrong, and in particular the process I went
thru to diagnose the problem, and eventually solve it.
The nature of this particular beast is one which anyone who sticks to
firework-making very long is gonna run into sooner or later. But lots
of people, not me of course---nahhh--overlook. Your comments on that
post over there would be appreciated. Buried in the article is also
link to Ned Gorski's project on making colored smoke bombs, with
videos. No specials or anything for sale. I just think this is
good, basic stuff, that I wanted to share. |
