Posted this morning at Electric Politics, a podcast interview with
John Geiger, author of The Third Man Factor. In this book John looks
at the phenomenon of a sense of "presence," particularly in extreme
life and death situations. Recent scientific findings appear to offer
at least a partial explanation, though much about the phenomenon
remains mysterious.
John is editorial page editor of The Globe and Mail, Canada's largest
national circulation newspaper. He's also an international best-
selling author, with many non-fiction books to his credit.
Here, to the end the subject turns to health care for several minutes.
Unsurprisingly, John's in favor of universal coverage.
