I really don't know if it me or Joe Smith that killed the newsgroup,
and the bottom line really doesn't matter.
Wher I and Joe Smith differ, is like if you were to go on a sailing
lesson in the ocean. In sailing, your learn at least two key phrased
that you respond to instinciively, "Coming About" and "Jive Ho". Ask
a sailor if you don't unstand these commands.
It's much like display fiireworks, where everyone responds to the
command 'DOWN'..On this comand any experieced firworks guy will
flatter out on the ground and, as they say, eat grass! Moments later
all Hell will break loose and shards of everthing will be flying over
your head.

Hi Harry;
Still around but this Michigan weather is getting everyone down- It's
like October and we didn't even have a summer. I hope the snow stays
away until November!
take care;

That would be JIB (gybe) HOOOOO. A Jive Ho is something you pick up in a
ghetto brothel.

Quite. I'm wondering where the Jive Ho fits in though.

Harry, you're such an idiot. It's "jibe", not "jive".

Dummy anonymous poster (Joe Williams aka Joe Smith), Yahoo Mail does
not have a spell checker.
Before complaining about other people's spelling and typos, why not
make a useful post on fireworks or some other interesting subject?
What an arsehole (not a spelling error)! You must be new to the
Internet, or else terminally stupid.
Harry C. (Who at least has the courage to sign his real name on
posts, unlike inbred cowards like yourself.) |

Not anymore.
Tom
Tom, same here. At my age it became unsafe to sail the open Atlantic
alone in a 23' Hutchins Compac Cruiser. Ah, the taste of the salt
water spray in your mouth, and navigating through a line squall in 10-
ft seas. It's like riding a roller coaster except for the fact that
the danger is real. A guy can get killed doing that, and it shapens
all of one's senses! (Actuall, it's pretty much like the experience
of hand shooting fireworks with a 1/4" or zero length fuse, which also
sharpens one's senses.)
Now let's see what clever response our friend Joe Smith (Joe Williams)
posts to this.
Actually, for the record, Joe's stupid posts don't offend me at all,
when I consider their idiotic origins..

Harry, there are several spell-checkers that run as browser extensions.
Any text typed in a browser window is capable of being spell-checked by one
