About 10 years ago I was told of a folksinging group that had recently
disbanded, but still had its followers. Someone gave me a CD, but I have
lost it, and I really enjoyed them. I seem to recall they were women. One
song I recall from it was "Ariel". I remember that because a friend of mine
had a son, Ariel, and I gave her that CD. A Google leads me to all sorts of
random Ariels, but not the one I want.

Darned! I hate brain fog. Much appreciated if anybody here remembers this
group.

You could go to a site like
http://mp3panda.com/

Type in ariel in the search box and you get a list of songs with Ariel
in the title. Listen to snippets until you find the right one, if it's
there.
