I need to pick your knowledgeable brains, as this one has me baffled.
I have been trying to identify what this fork may have been used for,
I came across them the other day at an antiques and collectors fair,
there is 6 in total.
They are made by Elkington, silver plated and I was told they were pea
forks, but I am not sure if they are or not, would like to find out
what they are to satisfy my curiosity, as searching for pea forks,
comes up with nothing unfortunately.
I have put a picture up just of the main part of the fork that I am
trying to ID.

They have the registration mark which dates them to 1867, the date may
help in the ID. They are also a Old English Fiddle pattern on the
handle.
Thank you in advance. I will be out for some of the day, I will
respond to (if there are) any replies here later this evening (UK
time).
