What reloadable engine for my EZI-65?...

Hello,

I did the maiden voyage of my EZI-65 on a G80-4T a few weeks back and it
seemed a little underpowered for this rocket.

I am looking for a reloadable engine and I am leaning to a 38/720 that would
fly I and J motors.

My kit is rated for G-J so it looks good to me.

Any advice or feedback?

Also I attached a small spy-pen camera I got on ebay to the rocket, so we
can see what it looks like from the rocket. The only issue I am wondering is
that it sticks out 3/4 of an inch from the side of the rocket. Any chance
this will affect the flight worthiness of the rocket?

Thank you,
Toben

As you mention the EZI-65 will fly on 120 nt-sec G motors, but just barely.
It flies very nicely on H and I motors though. A few motors I have had good
luck with are the H128W-S, H180W-M, I161W-M, and I357T-M.

To get a slightly better flight with a G, try flying it without the payload
section. Mine has a liftoff weight of right at 1500 grams and flies to around
500 feet on a G64-4.
