I have came across numerous antiques, needing a bit of advice if
anyone has time for a rookie.

How do you know they are antiques?

Make a list of them here:

Take pictures and upload them to your free webspace.
give us the URLs.

it is kind of hard to do if you don't know what you're doing, but the
key is to get some idea of their value (check ebay for comps). Then you
might try putting them on craigslist, which is free

I don't know what the OP came here for, because she hasn't
responded to *any* posts. Maybe we were supposed to
flood her email with posts begging her to accept all of our
free advice, rather than her complying with a simple request
for a list and images?

Maybe she's clueless about how this "bulletin board"/"email list"
thingie here works. Or maybe she's waiting for an answer from Google
Groups to her personally ...

I am very sorry about not responding. I had a death in my family to
deal with. I hope the images I sent earlier got through.

You're certainly forgiven, but I don't see any messages from you with
links to pictures. Maybe try posting it again?

Sent images where?
Did you send images via email to someone?

If they went to me, I wouldn't open them (it's my policy not to
accept images send to me via email).

The protocol is to upload the images to your webspace, then
come here and give us the URLs.

Probably the easiest place to do this is Flickr. Just go there
(http://www.flickr.com), sign up for a free account (very simple), then
upload pictures.

She's a gmail user, so she could use Google's image

Thanks, jackie. From what I could see, none of the items stood out to me
as particularly valuable, though the cameo might be ok, depending on if
it's really an antique rather a newer piece

Probably so, but does anyone have answers she'd like?

She's the one who pre-defined them as "antiques",
not us....so I'm sure she's disappointed to find out
that none are.

I wouldn't mind being proven wrong, because then I
could learn something ;)
