I saw this product in the Sky Mall magazine.
http://www.thegreatestgift.com/prodinfo.asp?number=4420
It's the "revolutionary" flip fin.It is available at a store called "The
Greatest Gift" for $169.95.
Benefits" Since it has a hinge in front of your toes, you cann "walk
normally while wearing your snorkel or scuba fins."

But why would you want to walk on fins in the first place? You simply
carry them until you get in the water. If you want to protect your
feet while walking, you only need neoprene socks. If you forsee
walking long streches you can get neoprene socks with a sole. Once you
get in the water you put your fins on. If you are walking into the
ocean on the beach, you walk to the edge, put your fins on and then
walk backwards a few yards.
Unless you are a pro diver or a freediver $169 for fins is silly. You
can get some great fins for $60 to $100 |

If you can't walk normally while wearing a snorkel, hinged fins
probably won't help much. |

Judging by the one pic, you can also use them to hold things you want to
type if you set the fin next to your computer and the typing on it.
